Alone

Well for the first time I spent a night alone in my own home. Before the day actually came I was looking forward to it to some point because I thought hey I can watch a war picture, or I can watch Larry or Tater Salad. But really after I was all alone in my own home I was really lonely and sad. To me it was just a reminder of how much my family means to me. I am so lucky to have a wife and son like I have.

I am really blessed and I need to be reminded of that even if its inconvenient or it might hurt a little.

Can't Wait to Get Home

Man I cannot wait to get home. I haven't been home since last Monday and it will be Sunday before I get there. I've driven through four states, flown on a plane, and spent more time in hotels than I want to do anytime soon.

But there were a few highlights from my trip. On my way to Grand Rapids MI to meet with Baker Publishing Group. I passed by a billboard near New Buffalo, Michigan for I Love Toy Trains. I can remember when Richie could not watch those DVD's enough. Now it seems that he never wants to watch them.

Another joy was going to Miller Park in Milwaukee to watch the Brewers and the Cubs. We had a great seats and it was really nice to take in a game.
